Designed by NASA for growing plants in outer space and produced in China for us.
 
These high tech grow lights emit light that is the right wavelength that stimulates chlorophyll A,and chlorophyll B plus the added benefit of Carotenoids to produce healthy bushy growth and flowers. The light spectrum is tailored to the absorption spectrum of chlorophyll, caroten, phycoerythrin and phycocyanin.
 
Each unit is fitted with 90 x 1 Watt LED's of the right wavelength shown in nanometers - 70 x red (630nm), 10 x blue (460nm) and 10 x orange (610nm) - colours hit all chlorophyll absorption peaks
 
Each unit emits approximately the same amount of useable light as a 400 watt high pressure sodium (HPS) light but at only around 90 watts this unit will make HUGE savings on energy!
 
There are 3 internal almost silent fans which circulate air to keep the unit cool and helping it achieve a 50,000+ hours of life
