This is the orchid that produces commercial vanilla pods used in cooking. These are strong plants growing in a plastic hanging basket, there are usually 4 - 6 plants in each basket so they could be split if needed. Ideally you would grow it up a moss pole of some kind as it will root in to it as it scrambles up it. The rest of the growing conditions are pretty much the same as Phalaenopsis orchids
