These are the famous Moth Orchids. They do not have pseudobulbs but instead form a 'crown' of around 4 - 7 fleshy leaves. The leaves are usually dark green (sometimes mottled with grey or burgundy) and around 6 - 12 inches long (some get much longer), oval shaped and glossy. New flowering spikes emerge from the common central stem. The flower stem is typically 12 - 18 inches long but some hybrids can grow several feet long. Flowers last many weeks DON'T FORGET TO CHECK OUT THE ORCHID SPECIES AND THE OUT OF FLOWER PHALAENOPSIS SECTION |
We would like to thank you for your continued support throughout the year.
We are now closing for the winter (most things are sold out and the rest are too tropical for sending out) and will re open in the spring. Although we wont be getting more plants in until spring we can still send out sundries.
