POSTAGE INCREASES
Royal Mail also sneaked in a price increase today (2nd April) which almost doubled the price of postage on items we send. Everything over 8cm (about 3 inches) thick is now considered a 'medium parcel' and the minimum price they charge is now £6.75 which is almost double the price it was last week!.

All our items are over 3 inches thick when packed so it will seriously affect our sales. To save money I suggest you order several items (up to 1kg worth can be sent for the same price).

I also suggest you complain to your local MP about this as it will affect so many small mail order firms like us it is sure to backfire on them in the long run.

Severe snowing is causing some disruption to deliveries as some areas can't be accessed by the post office / courier.

The site is currently being updated with new plants just arrived.

I am finally away for more plants next week and will return on Wednesday. In the meantime I have added some Vanda back to the catalogue in case you want to ore order one

Unfortunately I will not be getting any more flowering orchids in for the next 2 - 3 weeks

We will still be able to send the plants we do have in stock and the sundries etc

Hopefully things should be back to normal by start of September or sooner

New stock is here and I'm adding it as fast as I can. The Phalaenopsis are looking particularly good and Phalaenopsis 'Yu Pin Natsume' is one such example with bright yellow flowers and dark purple splodges!

Phalaenopsis Harlequin Rosa is another good example with it's large heavily spotted flowers it adds impact.

Dendrobium Comet King 'Akatzuki' is back in stock with dark red flowers with a white and yellow throat - fragrant too!

I am going away for more stocks from Sunday 24th to Wednesday 27th, in the meantime check out the Vanda section which features some stunning plants.

Unfortunately I had a touch of food poisoning or something whilst in Holland and I wasn't able to get very much. I've updated the Vanda section as I did manage to get them.

I will get more plants as soon as I am fit to go again! - not long I'm sure

No news at the moment

Unfortunately Parcelforce have had a major problem in their main sorting depot since the early part of the week. As a result we have not been able to send orders out via Parcelforce as they would get stuck in their system. According to Parcelforce the system is back to normal and their backlog will be cleared by the end of today (Weds). We will therefor be sending out the orders on Thursday 19th May for delivery on Friday 20th

Please note that I am going away on Sunday 15th May until Tuesday 17th so will not be able to dispatch orders that come in after 12 noon on Sunday until Wednesday 18th May

Just a reminder that it's bank holiday on Friday 29th April and again on Monday 2nd May. Orders that some in after noon on Wednesday 27th April will be sent on Tuesday 3rd May

MOTHER'S DAY LAST ORDERS

The last orders we can take for delivery on Friday 1st April is 12 noon on Thursday 31st March.

I am in the process of updating the 'out of flower' section of the shop. These are nice plants which have finished flowering and should flower again within a few months. I will be updating this section over the weekend so keep an eye on it as some plants are only available in one's and two's
